The Kidde KN-COB-DP-LS (6 Pack) is for a 6-pack of Nighthawk carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. They plug-in simply into a standard 120V outlet. These models offer a 9V battery back-up so that they can operate effectively even if a unit slips or falls from the outlet or if electricity is lost. Electrochemical technology in these Kidde plug-in alarms detects harmful CO levels, which sets off a loud 85 decibel pulsing alarm.
These in Kidde carbon monoxide detectors feature a test/reset button that makes regular weekly testing incredibly simple. This button also silences the alarm, resetting it in the process. Furthermore, these units features an alert that notifies the user when these alarms have been unplugged or have come loose from the outlet. This functionality can be disabled, if desired.
