Description
Add fresh air and natural daylight to your space by installing the VELUX VSC 2222 2008 22-1/2" x 22-1/2" curb mounted skylight. The solar powered model features a standard gray finish. The unit fits curbs with the outside size of 25-1/2" W x 25-1/2" H and up to 60° roof pitches. Moreover, the installation doesn't require any wires for complete operation of the window.
An included solar panel provides a highly-efficient battery with proper charging. A fully concealed operator uses the battery power to open and close the skylight. Besides, the solar panel even works with indirect light on cloudy and rainy days to assure stable operation. A built-in rain sensor automatically shuts the skylight when it starts raining.
A white, laminated, heat-strengthened, Lo-E3 tempered, impact glass features the Neat® technology. The innovative, smooth surface glass keeps the skylight clean and protects from outside noises. The model also includes VELUX KLR 200 remote control to increase the usage convenience. Moreover, this "Fresh Air" smart window is eligible for a 30% federal tax credit.
