The Lutron DVELV-300P-LA is an excellent addition to any room where the occupants desire control over light levels. The unit offers a convenient smooth-gliding dimmer to quickly and easily adjust the dimness, used after the large paddle switch turns the lights on to a preset level. This switch is compatible with both halogen and incandescent 120-volt light bulbs and can also be used in a variety of other low-voltage electronic applications.
Installation is simple, but please note that the Lutron DVELV-300P-LA does require a neutral wire connection. Any wall plate with a large opening with fit this unit. For easy visibility in low-light situations, the unit has a built-in soft glow nightlight. The dimmer includes a manufacturer’s limited 1-year warranty.
In case of power outages, the Lutron DVELV-300P-LA has a power failure memory to retain all of your presets. The unit’s performance is ensured since the dimmer offers exceptional radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression. Both Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and CSA International have approved the unit for indoor use.
