The Lutron MIR-1000M-AL is part of Lutron’s Maestro IR Dimmers, which are known as “smart dimmers” due to the switches cutting-edge technology and sleek design. The elegant appearance is brought out by the screwless faceplate and the switch is easy to turn on and off with its large main button. By a simple tap your lights will turn on and off. A touch rocker beside the main button allows you to set the light levels to your liking.
While the switch is off, it offers a room a nice glow that gives you the ability to find the switch within a dark room. The Lutron MIR-1000M-AL also comes with a concealed FASS service switch that gives you the ability to remove the power source to the switch without having to remove the entire dimmer from the wall. The switch can be paired with compatible remotes so you can control your dimmer without having to get up.
