The VELUX VS C08 2010 is a venting snowload skylight. This model is a perfect way to bring light to a kitchen or bathroom. This window is specifically designed for installations in rooms where it is out of arm's reach.
With this skylight it is easy to transform any windowless bonus room to a full of natural daylight home office or a playroom for children. In addition, for out-of-reach installations, a control rod is available. Installing VELUX fresh air skylights is an effective, easy way to enhance both the beauty and brightness of a room.

- Qualifies for a 10-year No Leak installation warranty when installed with VELUX flashing (required, sold separately) on a roof pitch between 14 and 85 degrees
- EDL flashing is required when installing the skylight on a shingle/shake/slate roof, EDW flashing is required for installation on a tile or high-profile roof, and EDM flashing is required for installation on a metal sheet roof
- Features laminated Clean, Quiet & Safe glass with a Neat glass coating that keeps your skylight cleaner, reduces unwanted outside noise, is energy efficient, and has an extra glass pane for added safety
- Consider adding a VELUX solar powered blind (sold and shipped separately) which is eligible for a 30 percent federal solar tax credit and allows you to control the light
- Consider upgrading to a Solar Powered Fresh Air Skylight (model VSS) to bring both natural light and fresh air into your home using only the power of the sun, plus it is eligible for a 30 percent federal solar tax credit, making it very affordable
- Manual control rod (ZCT 300) or motorized control rod (ZMT 300) for venting skylights are sold separately for out-of-reach applications

These warranties only apply if the product is finished, installed, operated and maintained strictly in accordance with VELUX instructions or other instructions furnished with the Covered Product. Improve Depot recommends a professional installation by a CERTIFIED INSTALLER to ensure that the product is protected by these warranties.
Normal wear and tear is not covered by VELUX's warranties, nor are problems arising from failure to properly maintain the product. The warranty on insulated glass is void if any film is applied to the glass surface. Other restrictions apply, so be sure to read the included warranty information packaged with the product.
