Permatex threadlockers product name medium strength, item# example 24200, color blue, fastener size 1/4"" to 3/4"" (6 to 20mm), torque (in lbs) break 115/53, maximum temperature +300 f (149 c), common application machine tools and presses, pumps and compressor, mounting bolts, gear boxes. Applied before assembly. Permatex threadlockers fixture in approximately 20 minutes and are fully cured within 24 hours. Permatex surface prep activator reduces fixture time to 5 minutes. Preceding values are for 3/8""-16 steel ""as received"" nuts and bolts at 72 f (22 c). Service removable. Locks threaded fasteners against vibration loosening. Uses: valve cover, water pump, and oil pan bolts.
