The Kidde KN-COPP-3 is for a 6-pack of Nighthawk carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. These CO alarms can be plugged directly into a wall socket and features a pull-out transformer/adapter that allows it to be used as a wall mounted unit or a table top alarm in addition to this direct plug functionality. They also have a 9V batter back-up that provides short-term power in the chance of a power outage. This provides continuous fire protection coverage.
A highly sensitive sensor in these units make use of electrochemical technology to detect CO levels. A loud 85 decibel pulsing alarm is activated when a potential threat is noticed by the sensor. Plus, a blinking red dot in the display notifies the user when this unit is functioning properly.
These Kidde Nighthawk CO alarms feature a digital display that shows the current carbon monoxide level. A peak level button also displays the highest CO level recorded by the alarm since it was last cleared or unplugged. This allows you to react accordingly to CO concerns in your home and helps serve as an early warning of CO presence.
