Description
Update you lighting system with the Liton LH5ICA 5" standard new construction housing in white. This model is specifically designed for residential and light commercial applications, it can be used for new construction installations. This model has an airtight option, which is intended to restrict air flow from room into plenums. The housing comes with the dimensions of 11-1/4" x 7-1/2" x 5-3/8", and it adjusts up to a 1 1/4" ceiling thickness. Also, it is equipped with an adjustable socket plate, allowing to use different lamp types.
The Liton LH5ICA is IC rated for direct contact with low to medium density loose fill blown and rolled insulation. Also, this standard new construction housing features an integral thermal protector which is intended to guard against improper lamping and installation. For secure mounting, this unit has standard coil springs, wing springs, and serrated clips. In addition, the Liton LH5ICA is UL and cETL listed, also, it is certified for use in damp locations.
